Founded in Toulouse by Frantz Lallement in 1986, La Boîte à Pizza is the first pizza take-away and delivery franchise that's 100% French. The company has always tried to distinguish itself from the competition, by combining fast-food and gourmet food. The products we use are designed for people who love fine food, like our pizzas with duck filet and boletus mushrooms, with foie gras, with scallops and truffles, etc.) but also for worldwide pizza lovers (pizzas with guacamole fajitas, with barbecue steak, Chinese style pizza or Moroccan tagine pizza with lamb and prunes). Each year we create about 20 new pizza specialties and around 10 starters to satisfy the most demanding clients and make them come back every time.

Our company continued to enjoy huge success in 2006 with overall turnover in excess of 30 million Euros (£20 million). This is why Socorest SA, the franchising company for La Boîte à Pizza was selected by the French Ministry for Small and Medium Enterprises to take part in the "Gazelle" programme which rewards the most dynamic and competitive French SMEs.

La Boîte à Pizza is also the only franchise to offer packaged meals for company employees. This is a unique idea to increase sales at lunch time and conquer the business market.
For the network, 2007 will mean going past the 100 units figure. 15 new outlets will open in France and the concept will develop in new countries. La Boîte à Pizza has a strong presence in the South West of France where its head office is located and they wish to improve their presence in the South East, Britanny and especially the Paris region (Ile-de-France).
International development continues with the opening of a 2nd profitable centre in Shanghai, China in the 1st semester of 2007 and the opening of the 1st Boîte à Pizza in Miami Beach, USA. A Master Franchise contract has been put in place since the end of 2006 and the network will attend international fairs.

The La Boîte à Pizza network network has established full cooperation between its members based on a common commercial policy:

• that focuses on maintaining and developping the brand's quality and reputation,
• that is based on the manufacturing methods and product marketing specifics, as well as unit launching, supply and management,
• in order to increase the number of customers and develop loyalty, to improve the competitive position and turnover of each and every network member.

However the franchisor's assistance is carried out while respecting the independence of the franchisee who operates and manages his company on his own.

Becoming a La Boîte à Pizza franchisee guarantees franchisor assistance for the following:

1. Financing,
2. 15-day initial training followed by a 1-week support for opening and staff training,
3. Local advertising support,
4. Legal assistance,
5. A computerised management system,
6. Taking part in the network's activities in commissions,
7. National and regional meetings,
8. Partnerships with big supply brands.

The franchise offers one of the best profitability rates in the industry (between 15% and 23% of the net results) and your investment return is made in 3 years.
