Car Audio Centre offers franchises to suit every level of enthusiast and enthusiastic business owner. There are four Audio Centre franchises available:
Car Audio Centre Retail Store Franchise
Those that want to take on the most prestigious of our franchises can open a Car Audio Centre Retail Store of their own, joining our existing national retail network. Our stores are ultra modern car audio and car visual showrooms that sustain a high level of profitability on high volumes of sales of both our big name and own brand sales.
Stores also enjoy additional streams of income from fitting car audio in their own workshop or hosting a Mobile Icebox to fit their customers purchases for them.
We assist franchisees to find the best retail premises and to set up their new business with a turnkey retail start-up package that supplies everything that they need from display cabinets to workshop tools!
Depending on location, a Car Audio Centre retail store requires from about £36,000 personal investment, should enjoy £360,000 + turnover by its second year and can enjoy around 45% gross margin across retail sales and income from fittings.

The Car Audio Centre Retail Conversion Franchise
The Car Audio Centre Retail Conversion Franchise is the same as the above franchise but allows those that already own a car audio store to convert it to Car Audio Centre for a better range, healthier margins, national marketing and a national retail image.

The Icebox Concession Franchise
Icebox is our concession brand.
Instead of needing to set up a store, car audio enthusiasts that want their own business can operate a concession within a host store that we will find for you. This means that you dont need to worry about location or rent and can operate with less staff, less fittings and a smaller stock.
Typical stores in which you can expect to operate an Icebox concession are in leading chain car-accessory retailers, fast service tyre fitting centres, supermarkets and showrooms.
Depending on host store, an Icebox concession franchise requires from about £12,000 personal investment. Those that are successful in one concession may open and operate others (for an additional fee).
The Mobile Icebox Franchise
Mobile Icebox is our sole-executive franchise for those that prefer the hands-on technical side of our business. Mobile Icebox franchisees are trained and get a nationally recognised qualification to fit car audiovisual, alarms and accessories from a fully kitted-out van that we supply within the franchise fee.
Mobile Icebox franchisees enjoy work to fit car audiovisual on behalf of the insurance companies we are contracted with; for those that purchase their car audio from our website; serve the fitting needs of our concession franchisees and of retail stores that dont operate their own workshops.
Retail franchisees can also choose to operate Mobile Icebox vans from their stores.
Depending on the area, a Mobile Icebox franchise requires from about a £5,000 personal investment.

What are the financials?
Retail franchisees can expect to turnover between £200,000 and £300,000 in their first year, £360,000 to £400,000 in their second and similar stores have reached £800,000+ in their first five years. Gross margins depend on your own operation, but are up to around 45%.
We charge our retail franchisees a very small management services fee of 4% and ask for contributions to a national marketing fund of 2%.
Who are we looking for?
You! We are looking for franchisees that are enthusiastic about cutting-edge car audio. You need not be experienced, as we will train you. Experience in retail (for the retail and concession franchises) or in car audio fitting an advantage.
