About This Video
Neil Greer spent most of his career in the telecoms industry, starting back in 1994. By the time he was ready for a change he was looking for something different and exciting that wasn't telecoms-based - and the Eazi-Apps franchise model is what surfaced when he started looking. What sold him was that the brand came pre-equipped with the things you need to start a business: a brand identity, infrastructure, support, and a model that had been used and proven to work elsewhere. Neil credits Eazi Business with phenomenal support from the very start. The services on the platform have been enhanced and continue to grow over time, and the head-office support has been - in his own words - absolutely fantastic. The business is performing well, and beyond the financial line, the lifestyle flexibility is what he calls out as a clear before-and-after change versus running a bigger, traditional operation that tied him to fixed daily hours. What really excited Neil at evaluation time was the recurring-revenue model. Coming from a telecoms background, he recognised the value-building dynamics of recurring monthly contracts - and seeing the same structure baked into Eazi-Apps was the moment the opportunity clicked. The recurring revenue comfortably covers his business costs - and did so quite early - which materially de-risks the whole operation and turns it into what he describes as a nice easy business to run. Watch Neil's interview for a telecoms-veteran-to-app-business take on the Eazi-Apps model, the recurring-revenue dynamic that gets a partner to cost-coverage early, and the lifestyle flexibility a distributed digital franchise offers compared with a fixed-office traditional business.
